How to better spend your time on the Internet
Spending all your time aimlessly surfing the web? Your not alone, a majority of people surfing the web are doing so with no real purpose but to waste time. We’ve all been guilty of it, even those facebook games that are addictively played, while we wait to go out, to bed or just the TV show that we want to watch to come on.
Imagine being able to continue to waste time, but be productive on the internet. From spending just a few minutes a day you can be in the running to win great prizes, including cars, holidays and cash.
There a millions of websites out there all vying for a piece of your time, and your email address. This then gives you a fantastic opportunity to cash in on and win prizes.
Online Competitions, or Online Sweepstakes if you are in the US, have hugely risen in popularity in the last few years as they offer both the website visitor and Website a win win outcome.
Websites and Companies offer prizes for something as a simple as just signing up to their email database, or answering a few questions about your habits, through to the harder having to answer a question in a number of words or less.
To find Online Competitions, do a Google search, this will list millions of results. Once you find something that you want to win, be sure to check out the terms and conditions first. This will tell you important information like, if you are eligible to enter, if the competition is still running and what happens to the information that you enter. This last point is extremely important, if your details are supplied to third parties you can open the flood gates on who will contact you directly to sell you stuff you don’t want.
Also be careful with the amount of information you enter. While a vast majority of the Online Competitions are legitimate, there are websites out there which have a sole purpose of stealing your identity. Personally I always enter a different date of birth, usually just one number or so different. If I then win the prize, it is extremely unlikely that you will need to prove your date of birth. And if you do claim it was an accident.
So why are websites offering these fantastic prizes? The main reason is that they want you as an email subscriber, and they are willing to give you the chance of a prize to get it. Because nearly every Online Competition will send you emails it is best to have a separate email address for this from a free provider like hotmail. This way your personal email address won’t get filled with hundreds of emails that don’t really interest you. If you set this up be sure to check it regularly though, in case you have won and they have notified you via email. Once the Online Competition is over you can unsubscribe or junk their emails, though doing this you may miss out on emails about future competitions that they have.
Wasting all your time by aimlessly surfing the internet? Sitting at home with nothing to do?? Start entering Online Competitions, to be in the running to win amazing prizes, including Cash, Cars and Holidays.
